The "big small" racing series wishes Merry Christmas!
22.12.2017 After a thrilling 2017 season and a successful premiere of the #VisionRCCO project, the "big small" electric racing series RCCO wishes all participants and friends Merry Christmas and a good start to the year 2018.
Preparations for the 28th RCCO season are already in full swing. It begins on 21 February with the 20 Minutes of Hamburg in the Shell Technology Center in Hamburg and ends in November with the 24-hour race, whose exact date and venue will be defined only in early 2018. A total of ten events with eleven championship rounds are scheduled for the 2018 season. At Bilster Berg, at the Formula E in Berlin, at the DTM in Zandvoort and the World Rallycross Championship at the Estering, the "big little" racing series will meet 1:1-scale racing.
Technically, the e-sports car studies of ABT, Audi, KTM, Lamborghini, Schaeffler and Volkswagen will remain unchanged in the 2018 season. Audi has announced a new e-tron concept car for the race in Berlin in May. At the 24-hour race in November, the "Slot Car 3.0" is set to celebrate its world premiere – a completely new chassis whose technology goes hand in hand with the current developments in the automotive industry and e-mobility.
